IIT Madras declared scholarship-eligible Direct PhD, PhD, Masters-Research admissions for July 2022

The application process for PhD/Direct PhD/MS (by Research) admissions has begun at the “Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras”, a prestigious national institution, for the July 2022 semester. The following Half-time Research Assistantships (HTRA) are available to scholars enrolled in doctoral and master's degree programmes under regular schemes.The scholarship for PhD students and MS (by research) candidates are awarded a monthly stipend of Rs 31,000 and Rs 12,400, respectively, under the Regular Programme. They must participate in departmental activities for eight hours a week in order to be eligible for this assistantship.

- The portal for online applications will be open starting on March 18, 2022.
- Online applications must be submitted by April 30, 2021.
